My path to UX writing started in an unexpected place: marine biology. At NOAA, I created educational content about ocean exploration—translating complex oceanographic research for the public. That's where I discovered my love for making technical complexity clear and engaging.

These skills transferred perfectly to tech. Whether explaining coral anatomy or configuring security policy rules, the challenge is the same: understanding your audience, anticipating their questions, and giving them what they need to succeed.

Great content is both art and science—it requires data-driven research and systematic thinking, but also creativity to solve issues. My favorite projects combine scientific methodology with human empathy to help create positive user experiences.
